ElecHive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

• Is ElecHive pure sine-wave?

  • Yes. Pure sine-wave provides more efficient power and minimal interference.

• Can it power my refrigerator? If so, how long will it last?

  • Yes. For example, ElecHive can power a "Dometic CFX" 40W for about 2.6 days. The duration depends on your refrigerator's power consumption and how frequently you open the fridge door.

• How do I know if my device will work with it?

  • Check the power requirement of your appliance or device. The total wattage used by all your appliances/devices cannot exceed 2200W. Exceeding the maximum wattage will trigger ElecHive’s battery management system to shut down the generator.

• How long does it take to recharge the unit?

  • 2.5 hours with a 1250W power supply.
  • 3.5 hours with a 600W & 240W power supply.
  • 5 hours with a 600W power supply.
  • 11 hours with a 240W power supply.
  • 26 hours with a 120W cigarette socket.
  • 27 hours with a 100W USB-C port.
  • Note: The 1250W or 600W fast charger needs to be purchased separately.

• Can I use my own solar panels?

  • We do not recommend using other brands' solar panels to recharge ElecHive for safety reasons and because we cannot guarantee their quality or provide after-sales service for damages caused by other solar panels.

• Can you charge it up from a gas generator as well?

  • Yes, as long as your gas generator can handle more than the charger power drain consistently. For example, if using a 1250W charger, the gas generator's inverter should be able to handle the input required for the 1250W, and similarly for 600W and 240W chargers.

• Are these able to charge outside in the winter with the colder temps?

  • Please recharge the ElecHive within an ambient temperature range of 14-104°F / -10-40°C. The operating temperature range is -4-104°F / -20-40°C, with advised storage temperature and humidity of -40-140°F / -40-60°C, <95% RH.

  • Yes, ElecHive supports Non-Stop Power with UPS. Our product has built-in UPS functionality, ensuring continuous and stable power supply even during power interruptions or fluctuations, keeping your devices and systems running smoothly.

Shipping

Free shipping on Mark 2 AC, Mark 2 Battery, ElecHive Power Station, and Solar Panels for orders from the contiguous US. Excludes Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.

Processing Time

Orders that have been successfully paid will be processed within 1-2 business days. However, during peak seasons, the processing time may take up to 3 or more days.

Shipping Methods

Orders from the US will be shipped by UPS, FedEx, and USPS. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes. For orders from areas such as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the central mountainous regions, delivery time will be slightly longer with an additional fee.

Estimated Delivery Time

Because of the special characteristics of air conditioners and batteries, the packages might be checked multiple times during transportation, and the delivery time can't be guaranteed, which is subject to delays by 3rd party shipping service providers.

The following is the estimated delivery time during normal times.

United States (lower 48 states): 3-7 business days

Alaska, Hawaii: 7-10 business days

Inspection & Sign

As Zero Breeze products are generally quite valuable, please inspect the package upon delivery. If the tracking information indicates that the package has been delivered, but you have not received it, or if you have received a damaged product, please contact support within 48 hours. To protect your rights, you are highly recommended to take a complete unboxing video and check the items according to the packing list. Failure to do so will result in us being unable to provide compensation, replacement, or refund. Any losses incurred as a result will be your responsibility.

Order Cancellation

We accept order cancellations before the product is shipped or produced. We can not cancel the order if the product is already shipped out. 

Change of Address

All workday orders in the US are usually picked up by the courier company within 24 hours, and the tracking number will be available within 48 hours.

If you need to change the address, please contact customer service to check whether your order has been picked up. If not, we will try to change the address for you, but this does not guarantee success. Any resulting losses shall be at the customer's expense.

If your order has been picked up, regardless of whether you have received the tracking number or whether there is tracking information, the address can't be changed. Because in such cases, the goods have been handed over to the courier company for processing, and their status will not be under our control.

Zero Breeze assumes no responsibility for delayed or rejected orders due to the following reasons:

1. Shipping time might be delayed for 1-2 days for transportation to remote regions.
2. Delay or delivery failure because of the consignee’s actions. These actions include, but are not limited to: cancellation after shipping, changing the address after shipment, entering an unknown address or wrong address, entering incorrect contact information, refusal to receive, etc.
3. Delay due to force majeure. “Force majeure” means an unforeseen, inevitable, or insurmountable objective situation and other objective conditions that cause delayed shipping, including, but not limited to national or regional air or ground transportation system controls or interruptions (e.g., weather reasons), communication system interference or malfunction, government actions, postal administration policy changes, wars, earthquakes, typhoons, floods, fires, heavy rain, heavy fog, and other similar events.
4. Aviation contraband, mobile phones, electronic products, fragile products, and other products that are not available for air freight service due to aviation security regulations.
5. Shipments that are confiscated or disposed of due to a violation of transportation regulations.
6. Mail and packages cannot be delivered to the consignee’s address during weekends, national holidays, and festivals.
7. The consignee address is a school, unit, or residential community which the courier has no access.

Returns

The manufacturer provides replacement units for all defective units within the warranty period. There are no returns for buyer's remorse.

At Zero Breeze, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We offer a warranty to provide you with peace of mind regarding the performance and durability of your purchase. This warranty policy includes warranty coverage, warranty process, shipping fees, repair fees, and warranty exclusions for orders from the contiguous US and the differences for other countries and regions.

Warranty Policy for orders from the contiguous US

Warranty Coverage

Zero Breeze offers a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period from the date of purchase. Every Zero Breeze order comes with a one-year warranty (ElecHive two years). The warranty period and coverage may vary depending on the specific product and its components.

Warranty Process

Step 1. Warranty Claim

If you believe your product is experiencing a manufacturing defect covered under the warranty, please email us - include your order number, a few pictures, and a short video showing the issue you are having. The more details you add, the quicker we can respond with an accurate answer. You are typically responded to within 1-2 working days, but more complex issues may take more time.

Step 2. Warranty Evaluation

Upon receiving your warranty claim, our team will evaluate the issue and may request additional information or evidence if necessary.

Some problems can be solved by yourselves under our professional guidance, such as problems caused by incorrect installation, or other wrong operations that are easily overlooked.

For problems that can't be solved on your side, we may require you to return the product for further inspection, in which case we will generate a shipping label and send it to you.

Please send the warranty product along with the completed warranty card and all attachments back to us in the original package with the protective foam.

Note:

Customers have 7 days from the day Zero Breeze sends the return label to ship back their unit, otherwise, you will be charged for the return shipping.

Step 3. Warranty Resolution

The warranty product will undergo testing when we receive it.

If the issues don't match your explanation, you will be charged for the return shipping.

If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect covered under the warranty, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product free of charge. If a replacement is provided, it will be of equal or comparable value to the original product. The replacement is still by the original warranty terms.

Shipping Fees:

Within the Warranty Period

If the product is within the warranty period and meets the warranty policy criteria, both the outbound and return shipping fees will be covered by Zero Breeze.

If the product is within the warranty period but the issues don't match your explanation, you will be charged for the return shipping.

Outside the Warranty Period

If the product is outside the warranty period, any shipping fees associated with returning the product for repairs or replacement will be your responsibility. You will be responsible for covering the outbound and return shipping costs.

Repair Fees:

Within the Warranty Period

If the product is within the warranty period and meets the warranty policy criteria, any necessary repairs will be covered by Zero Breeze.

Outside the Warranty Period

If the product is outside the warranty period, you will be responsible for covering the costs associated with repairs, including parts, labor, and shipping. The price of repairs is determined on a case-by-case basis.

 Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from misuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized repairs or modifications, normal wear and tear, or any non-compliance with the product instructions and guidelines.
