Product Information

In some instances, we may show a picture that does not exactly match the product but helps illustrate what it will look like (such as shirts where we only have a picture of one color but we are offering several colors.) In these instances, we will ship you the item you ordered (even though it may be slightly different than the image). Please check the product information and specs before you purchase.

Shipping Policy

FREE SHIPPING: Free Shipping only applies to shipping destinations within the contiguous United States.  Certain items may not qualify for free shipping regardless of the order total. If free shipping is offered, it will only apply to STANDARD SHIPPING. Expedited Shipping, including but not limited to Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, & 3 Day Select may not be used for items shipped free of charge.

All Standard Shipping charges are calculated based on the total value of your order and may include any shipping carrier chosen by us.

Delivery to rural or extended areas, special orders, and truck freight shipments may take extra days to arrive and may incur additional shipping fees. Please contact us for details.

If an item is shipped and returned to us because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs both ways. If an item shipped via truck freight is returned because the freight company was unable to contact the customer, this will be considered a return and our normal return policy will apply.

Shipping Methods

While we reserve the right to use any shipping carrier we choose, most orders will be shipped by FedEx, UPS, or USPS. You must provide us with an accurate street address for delivery. In some instances, larger items may be delivered via truck freight.

Expedited Shipping Details

Where applicable, all Expedited Shipping charges will be quoted on an order-by-order basis. These quotes are based on the selected shipping method, distance, weight, dimensions, and the number of boxes or pieces of the shipment. Some items will not qualify for Expedited Shipping. Expedited Shipping delivery is available Monday – Friday only.

Truck Freight Shipping Details

Items shipped by truck freight will require a signature at the time of delivery. If you authorize the shipping company to deliver your products without signature, Portable Kitchens cannot be held responsible for any damages that may have occurred during shipping. All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. Damaged packages should be refused.

ALL SHIPMENT SHOULD BE INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. DAMAGED PACKAGES SHOULD BE REFUSED. If delivered by truck freight, please contact the freight carrier at the phone number on the carrier’s bill. Please note, signing for your delivery without noting any damages, issues, or inability to inspect the delivery on the relevant paperwork legally states that you have received your freight in good condition and Portable Kitchens cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces (and leaving a note and/or instructions for the driver is the same as signing for your products in good condition). If you choose to sign for a visibly damaged product, please note on the relevant paperwork that you are signing for a damaged package; however, Portable Kitchens cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces accepted via signature delivery.

Returns

The PK Promise: You may return your new PK Grill & Smoker, PK360 model or Classic model, free of charge, for any reason, within 30 days of the date of sale for a full refund. Free returns apply only to grills purchased online at pkgrills.com and shipped to destinations in the continental US. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping to overseas destinations at this time. All returns and exchanges must include all of the original parts, components, packaging, and manufacturer documentation for refunds to be issued.

For all other new, unused, and resalable PK branded items, you may return them within 30 days of the date of sale for a hassle-free, full refund of the amount paid for the items, less shipping. In the event of an exchange of a defective product, PK will pay for shipping on the outbound replacement product.  All returns and exchanges must include all of the original parts, components, packaging, and manufacturer documentation for refunds to be issued. Special order or non-stocking items are specifically exempted from this policy and will be assessed an appropriate re-stocking charge. Place your name and order number on the package for efficient identification.

Warranty

PK GUARANTEES ITS ALUMINUM CAPSULES AGAINST BURNOUT, RUST AND BREAKAGE

Effective August 30, 2020, Portable Kitchens, Inc. hereby warrants to the original consumer-purchaser this new “Portable Kitchen” grill and smoker to be free from defective material or workmanship at the time of purchase. Portable Kitchens, Inc. warrants the cast aluminum bowl and lid for a period of twenty (20) years from the date of purchase; the cooking and charcoal grates, if constructed of stainless steel, for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, and otherwise for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase; the plastic components for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase; all other metal parts and accessories for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase; grill covers for two (2) years from the date of purchase; and the temperature gauge for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

The applicable warranty period begins on the date of purchase. A dated proof of purchase is required for warranty service. Registering the product is not a substitute for proof of purchase. Portable Kitchens, Inc. is not required to retain proof of purchase records. This limited warranty is only applicable within the United States of America and is non-transferable.

This warranty applies only to units purchased from an authorized Portable Kitchens, Inc. retailer. Portable Kitchens, Inc. grills purchased from unauthorized resellers, unauthorized third parties, or through unauthorized retail channels are not covered under any warranty.

This warranty further applies only to the original purchase by a consumer from the authorized retailer. For this warranty to apply, the Portable Kitchen must be properly assembled by the consumer-purchaser and must be used by the consumer-purchaser for normal and reasonable home/household use. The Portable Kitchen grill capsule is constructed of cast aluminum, which has a melting point of approximately 1080 Fahrenheit. For safety reasons, Portable Kitchens Inc. does not condone any operation of this grill at heats above 800 Fahrenheit, and any such use will completely void this warranty. This warranty does not apply if the consumer-purchaser is using the Portable Kitchen for commercial use.

This limited warranty applies to the functionality of the Portable Kitchen only and does not cover cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, corrosion, or discoloration from heat, abrasives, chemicals, or tools used in assembly. Paint, powder coatings, and colored dyes used in textiles are not covered by this warranty. Deterioration or damage due to severe weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, or tornadoes, and discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, either directly or in the atmosphere, is not covered by this limited warranty. NOTICE: Portable Kitchens, Inc. makes every effort to utilize rust-resistant materials and high-temperature coatings. However, metal materials and protective coatings can be compromised by various surface scratches or exposure to substances and conditions beyond Portable Kitchen Inc.’s control. Among other things, chlorine, industrial fumes, chemicals, fertilizers, extreme humidity, lawn pesticides, and salt are some of the substances that can corrode coatings on metal surfaces. For these reasons, this warranty does not cover paint or coatings. Rust-free and/or rust-proof claims made in marketing materials are made concerning cast aluminum parts exclusively.

Repair or replacement of defective parts is the consumer purchaser’s exclusive remedy under the terms of this limited warranty. Portable Kitchens, Inc. reserves the right to substitute like or similar parts that are equally functional as determined by Portable Kitchens, Inc. This warranty is between the consumer-purchaser and Portable Kitchens, Inc.

Portable Kitchens, Inc. reserves the right to require defective parts be returned to Portable Kitchens, Inc. with postage/freight paid by the consumer-purchaser, for review and examination. All postage or freight to the factory will be the responsibility of the consumer-purchaser. If Portable Kitchens, Inc.’s inspection confirms the defect and the claim, and provided that the defect is one explicitly warranted herein, and proof of purchase from an authorized Portable Kitchens, Inc. dealer exists, Portable Kitchens, Inc. will repair or replace such part without charge and return it to the consumer-purchaser with freight or postage prepaid. NOTICE: Portable Kitchens, Inc. will pay return freight postage only if inside the continental United States. The consumer-purchaser will be responsible for all return freight postage if outside the continental United States. Portable Kitchens, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any claims not handled in the prescribed manner.

Portable Kitchens, Inc. is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the breach of either this limited warranty or any applicable implied warranty, or for failure or damage resulting from acts of God, improper care and maintenance, grease fire, accident, alteration, replacement of parts by anyone other than the manufacturer, misuse, transportation, dropping, mis-assembly, commercial use, modification, alteration, negligence, abuse, normal and reasonable wear and tear, hostile environments (inclement weather, acts of nature, animal tampering), improper installation or installation not per local codes or printed manufacturer instructions.

No person or entity except the manufacturer, Portable Kitchens, Inc., has any authority to make any additional warranties or to promise remedies in addition to those explicitly stated within this limited warranty. Portable Kitchens, Inc. does not authorize any person or company to assume any other obligation or liability for the sale, installation, use, removal, return, or replacement of its equipment. No such representations are binding on Portable Kitchens, Inc.

Portable Kitchen Inc.’s maximum liability, in any event, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product paid by the original consumer-purchaser. NOTICE: DO NOT place a Portable Kitchens, Inc. grill directly on or near a combustible surface, deck, table, or other support without the use of a fireproof barrier such as a 2" (two inch) concrete paver block as this will void the warranty. Any other use of a Portable Kitchens, Inc. product which is inconsistent with the Portable Kitchens, Inc. Terms and Conditions, User Manuals, Instructions, and/or Warnings will void the warranty. Portable Kitchens, Inc. expressly disclaims any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage that may result.
